How CouponsView works

Most coupon sites optimise for the number of codes on a page. We optimise for whether the code works. That single difference drives every part of the product below.

0–100

CouponsView Confidence

A single score for how likely an offer is to actually save you money right now, with the reasoning stored alongside it.

90–100

Highly Verified

Confirmed by multiple reputable sources and recent checks. Very likely to work right now.

75–89

Verified

Recently confirmed with consistent signals. Likely to work.

50–74

Conditional

May work, but conditions apply or signals are mixed. Check the restrictions before relying on it.

0–49

Low confidence

Not enough positive signal to recommend. Shown for transparency only, never promoted.

Anything below 50 is never recommended prominently. We would rather show you nothing than send you to a dead checkout.

Inputs

What feeds the score

Source authority

Merchant and affiliate-network feeds outrank scraped or user-submitted codes.

Freshness

Confidence decays over time. An offer nobody has checked in weeks cannot stay Highly Verified.

Confirmation

The same coupon arriving from multiple reputable sources strengthens one canonical offer instead of creating duplicates.

Shopper reports

Worked / didn't work reports feed in, dampened so a single anonymous report is never treated as definitive.

Automated verification

Link-health and feed checks are recorded with their result and timestamp, and shown on the page.

Geographic match

An offer valid only in another country scores lower for you, not higher.

Restriction complexity

Minimums, exclusions and eligibility gates reduce the chance an offer works for a typical basket.

Expiration proximity

Offers close to expiry are discounted, and expired offers are removed from recommendations.

Confidence weights

Weights are configurable and stored with each score so any number on the site can be explained.
